Roman Pavlyuchenko still wants to leave...
The Russian forward has yet to start a game in the Premier League this season, and has been linked with a number of clubs in both England and Russia. Despite his lack of match practice, the 28-year-old international showed great awareness and composure on Saturday to burst into the Leeds box and slot home just four minutes after coming on.
"I"ve already heard lots of times from Redknapp that I"m going to play, but I still remain sitting on the bench," Pavlyuchenko told the Sport Express paper after Tottenham"s 2-2 draw with Leeds.
"I don"t think that goal will change anything. In any case, I hope it doesn"t stop me leaving Tottenham," the former Spartak Moscow player added.
Redknapp said immediately after the match that, "Pav is here, he"s part of the squad and if he plays like he did when he came on every week he will be in the team every week."
