The eruption on the Eyjafjallajokull Glacier in Iceland, which began on Wednesday, has disabled air traffic throughout central and northern Europe, leaving thousands of travelers stranded.

At the moment, wind is pushing the mass of volcanic ash from Iceland to Europe and, according to forecasts, this will continue for at least another two days and possibly until the middle of next week, the meteorological report said.
